Ksar of Ait ben Haddou, Excursions departing from Ouarzazate

The UNESCO protected Ksar of Ait ben Haddou is featured in several movies such as “ The Gladiator “ or even “ The Lawrence of Arabia”. Its beauty is unequal to any other fortified village in south Morocco. Ait ben Haddou is a fortified village built on a hill along the river inside a gorgeous valley. The ksar is located 30km away from Ouarzazate and its close location gives us the opportunity to visit the famous film studios just outside town. The cinema studios usually called as “ Moroccan Hollywood “ offer a quick tour around scenarios and film studio facilities where very famous films were shoot.
